Currency Coach Privacy Policy

Currency Coach is a local-first currency conversion and practice app published by Nauta Ventures LLC. It is designed to work without an account, advertising profile, or user database.

Data stored on your device

Currency Coach stores your selected currencies, favorite currencies, cached exchange rates, learned currency pairs, rounded practice rates, drift alert settings, and appearance settings on your device. This data is used to run the app and preserve your progress. It is not stored in a Nauta Ventures LLC account and is not sent to a Nauta Ventures LLC server.

Network requests

When you refresh exchange rates or open a rate chart, Currency Coach contacts the Currency Coach backend to download current or historical currency conversion data. The backend uses Wise mid-market rates server-side. These requests can include normal network information such as your IP address, timestamp, requested endpoint, and requested currencies.

Currency flags are bundled in the app and do not require external flag-image requests.

Scanner photos

Currency Coach processes camera and photo price scans on your device. Receipt and menu photos are not uploaded by the scanner flow.

Notifications

Drift alerts are off by default. If you turn them on for a learned currency pair, iOS will ask for notification permission. You can change notification permission in the iOS Settings app.

No accounts, ads, or tracking

Currency Coach does not require an account. Currency Coach does not include ads, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs. Nauta Ventures LLC does not sell personal data from the app and does not use Currency Coach to track you across apps or websites.

Deleting app data

You can delete local Currency Coach data by deleting the app from your device. Notification permission can be managed in the iOS Settings app. Because Currency Coach does not create an account, there is no server-side account record to delete.

Children

Currency Coach is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can address it.

Changes

Nauta Ventures LLC may update this policy as Currency Coach changes. If the app's data practices change materially, this page and the App Store privacy information will be updated.
